oil changes
For questions about when and how often an owner should change their vehicle’s oil, the answers can usually be found in the owner’s manual. It is important to understand the oil becomes less effective as it ages. Even if the vehicle owner is not an extensive driver, it is still recommended that they change their vehicle’s oil frequently to ensure a longer engine life.
- Check your owner's manual for oil life
- Oil degrades over time
tire changes
It is important to seasonally change your tires to not only maintain their longevity but to also ensure your safety and the safety of others who share the roads. A general rule of thumb is to follow the 7 for 7 rule. If the weather drops below 7 degrees Celsius for 7 days, it is time to put on your winter tires. The reverse also applies for transitioning to summer tires.
- 7 days under 7C, put winter tires on!
- 7 days over 7C, take your winter tires off!
